CycladesIslands Travel Guide

by our Greece expert Paul Baderman
Paul BadermanTo the south of the Greek mainland, on the Aegean side, the Cyclades are a mass of islands and islets, mostly uninhabited, and once the centre of an extremely ancient civilisation, long before the further south Minoan development on Crete. The Cyclades now include some of the most attractive sailing and vacation destinations imaginable, such as Mykonos and Naxos. One of the larger is the volcanic island of Santorini.
