In summer, Chamonix is a mecca for hardcore mountain bikers, walkers & climbers whoo are drawn by the challenging terrain and jawdropping views that surround Mont Blanc. If you prefer the quick route to the top then hop on Chamonix's famous cable car up to the towering Aiguille du Midi at 3842m, from where you can almost touch Mont Blanc itself.
